POR HEAD PROJECT

POR HEAD – HIGH EFFICIENCY AGGREGATE DRYER/CLASSIFIER

Project for the development and industrial validation of a prototype dryer/classifier for smart applications in the recycling and reuse of aggregates in distributed production.

The project was carried out with funding from the POR FESR-FSE – Calabria 14/20 European Structural and Investment Funds, Axis I – Action 1.1.5, provided to Personal Factory S.p.A. and UNICAL, which received support as part of the POR 2014–2020 Projects.

PON FOREST COMP Project

PON FOREST COMP

Personal Factory S.p.A., together with its partners in the FOREST COMP project, received funding under the Industrial Research and Experimental Development Projects in the 12 areas of specialization identified in the 2015–2020 National Research Plan (PNR).

The project, titled “New Biocomposites from Forest Resources,” has the ambitious goal of producing biocomposites on a large scale, using renewable forest and non-forest resources. The project will study and develop bio-based polymer formulations based on thermoplastics and polyurethanes, as well as the use of functionalized plant fibers as fillers and reinforcements for biocomposites intended for industrial production in various sectors, including transportation, furniture, workwear (footwear), and construction. This last area of research has been entrusted to Personal Factory, thanks to its expertise in developing environmentally friendly chemical products for the construction industry.

The goal of the FOREST-COMP project is to develop thermoplastic and polyurethane polymer matrices from renewable resources, along with the development of functionalized reinforcing fibers and fillers derived from both forest and non-forest resources. The potential applications studied by Personal Factory were biocomposites and biopolyurethanes for the construction industry (soundproofing panels).

As a result of its research, Personal Factory has developed chemical compounds for the production of eco-friendly products and mortars, such as the products in the GEOCOAT line:

SPECIALI KERAAIR 250 GEO
Cement-free, eco-friendly mineral foam that reacts to hot water, with final properties that can be adjusted based on water temperature. In just a few minutes, it creates an insulating, rot-resistant, fire-retardant, and breathable foam with a density ranging from 250 to 350 kg/m³.

ISOLFUGA GEOCOAT 700
High-performance geopolymer powder grout for filling joints from 0 to 30 mm with exceptional mechanical properties, based on high-strength sulfate geopolymers, selected aggregates, additives, and powdered resins, for indoor and outdoor use, Class CG2 WA, available in white or gray.

NANOSTUCCO BASE GEOCOAT
Geopolymer skim coat for the preparation and leveling of substrates, offering ultra-high performance and exceptional adhesion; specifically formulated as a base coat for textured finishes and also suitable for waterproofing using NANOSTUCCO 3D-MULTIFOIL.

NANOSTUCCO 800 GEOCOAT
A single-component, trowel-applied, colored, water-repellent geopolymer coating with extremely high adhesion, very high surface hardness, and abrasion resistance, for walls, floors, and furnishings, designed for creating textured finishes; available in various particle sizes and textures; based on sulfate-based geopolymers, ultra-fine spherical quartz, resins, and additives.

PAVIMIX GEOCOAT 100
Geopolymer self-leveling floor coating with high adhesion, wear resistance, and excellent workability, based on special hydraulic binders, class C30 F7 A6.

POR ORIGAMI PLATFORM Pro-ject

POR CALABRIA ORIGAMI PLATFORM

Design of an innovative modular production system to manage the variable production of powdered products for the chemical and construction industries.

The project was carried out with funding from the POR FESR-FSE – Calabria 14/20 European Structural and Investment Funds, Axis I – Action 1.2.2, provided to Personal Factory S.p.A. in collaboration with UNICAL, both of which are beneficiaries of support under the POR 2014–2020 Projects.

ECOFIBAR Project

PON ECOFIBAR

Research project on environmentally friendly cementitious composites made with basalt fiber and recycled aggregates.

This project was carried out with funding from the PON Research and Competitiveness “Investing in Your Future” program of the European Regional Development Fund, the Ministry of Education, Universities, and Research, and the Ministry of Economic Development PON Projects 2007–2013.
